Mustang baseball player named all-state


The N.C. Baseball Coaches Association named East Lincolns Parker Hills to its 2A all-state team.

Hill, who graduated in June, was a standout pitcher/catcher for East Lincoln. He batted .416 while also earning six wins for the Mustangs.

Any info on scholarship offers or where he is going to college? Being all state should have brought in some offers.Once again the observer's crack investigative team is on the ball for schools outside of meck county.

When I last talked to Parker he hadn't had any major offers (if you want to read the story, here's the link: http://bit.ly/ruXesj), but I'm pretty sure he signed to play at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. Thanks for checking out the blog!
