Bandys pitcher to play in All-America game

Bandy’s Hunter Harvey was selected to play in the Under Armour All-America baseball game, the Baltimore-based apparel company earlier this week.

The game, which showcases 36 of the country’s top high school players, will be played at Wrigley Field in Chicago Aug. 18. It will air at 1:30 p.m. on the MLB Network.

Harvey, a 6-foot-4 right-handed pitcher, was 8-2 on the mound for Bandys as a junior this spring. He’s the son of former MLB relief pitcher Bryan Harvey, a two-time all-star. Hunter’s brother, Kris, is a member of the Pittsburg Pirates organization.
