Area trio claims individual state titles

East Lincoln's Jeremy Tarleton, Bandys' Anthony Christopher and Lake Norman's Cody Karns were crowned state champions at Saturday's N.C. High School Athletic Association state wrestling tournament in Greensboro.

Four Lake Norman-area squad reach regional semifinals

Hough beat West Charlotte for a second straight time to earn its first trip to the regional boys' basketball semifinals.
