McDonald's All-American nominees announced

Several local players made the nominee list for the 2010 McDonald's All-American games.

Hopewell's DeMon Brooks and Jordan Downing made the list, along with fellow I-Meck stars Paul Larsen from Lake Norman High and J.T. Terrell from West Charlotte.

Cannon School's Jarrell Eddie is also a nominee.

On the girls' side, East Lincoln standout Lindsy Wright, who will play at Wake Forest next year, made the list.
