SouthLake finishes fifth at state swimming meet

The SouthLake boys' and girls' swim teams both finished fifth at the NCISAA 1A/2A state swimming championships Monday.

Top SouthLake finishers include:

Third place, girls' 200-yard medley relay (Mattie Anderson, Taylor Wilson, Moriah Anderson and Taylor Harkey).

Second place, boys' 200-yard medley relay (Brian Davis, Michael Gonzalez, John Baker and Ryan Scott).

Taylor Wilson, third place girls' 200-yard IM, fourth place 100-yard breaststroke.

Brian Davis, fifth place boys' 200-yard IM.

John Baker, fifth place boys' 100-yard butterfly, fourth place 500-yard freestyle.

Fourth place, girls' 200-yard freestyle relay (Taylor Harkey, Moriah Anderson, Mattie Anderson, Taylor Wilson).

Fifth place, boys' 200-yard freestyle relay (Matt Belter, John Baker, Ryan Scott, Michael Gonzalez).
