10/26 playoff update

NCHSAA girls' tennis

Lake Norman Charter lost in the second round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association girls' tennis dual playoffs, while Lake Norman High moved on to the third round.

NCHSAA volleyball
Four Lake Norman-area teams moved on to the district round of the NCHSAA playoffs.

Still-undefeated Lake Norman Charter (25-0) swept Avery 3-0, while I-Meck teams Lake Norman and Hough defeated conference foes North Meck and Hopewell, respectively, to move on to the third round of the playoffs.

NCISAA volleyball
Davidson Day was upset in its first-round game by Halifax Academy the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association 2A volleyball playoffs. The Patriots lost 3-2.

Undefeated SouthLake Christian (25-0) had a first-round bye and will play Forsyth Country Day in the 3A quarterfinals at Cary Academy's SEA Gym Friday at 1 p.m.
